Lamar’s Parks & Recreation Department has been busy making significant repairs and improvements to the City’s pool.  It contracted with a vendor to repair the pool’s liner, but the vendor has had significant delays in getting to Lamar to complete the work. With the technician now on site and starting repairs, Parks & Rec is anticipating a Saturday, May 31 pool opening.  If repairs are completed earlier, Lamar’s Parks & Rec Department and the City will inform the public of an earlier opening date.
