La Mission Villanueva is offering bean and cheese burritos at a discounted price with proof of current SNAP benefits. (Limit 6 burritos per SNAP card)
- Visit Mission Villanueva 100 Savage Avenue in Lamar. Several residents have pre-purchased burritos to help feed others in the community.

Cornerstone Resource Center strives to support residents of Southeastern Colorado in accessing the help and support that they need to grow, develop, and lead healthy lives. Care Net Pregnancy SE CO supports women, men, and their families through pregnancy up to 2 years of age.
Multiple businesses and organizations in Lamar are taking food donations.
- Lamar Public Library
- LPL is hosting their Annual Holdiay Food Drive. Drop off your non-perishable food items from November 1st to December 20th. Please make sure items are unopened and not expired. All donations will be given to Sparrow House Ministries.
- Southeastern Developmental Services
- SDS is hosting a food drive to support the population we serve and our community. Please drop off your unexpired, nonperishable items at our office on South 4th Street in Lamar. For more information, call 719-336-3244.

- The Lamar Christian Church has a collection box at their church and donations can be dropped on Monday-Friday or on Sundays. Located at 811 South Main Street in Lamar.
- Goal Academy is assembling 7 Thanksgiving boxes for students and need turkeys and/or hams. If you would like to donate to them, please email Rosie Gomez at rosie@cornerstoneco.org.
