Monday - Friday:  8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Tuesday and Thursday Evenings:  6:00 PM- 9:00 PM
Other nights and weekends available by special agreement (rental fee and after-hours security fee required)

The Lamar Senior Center is a community center that offers a range of programs and services for Prowers County residents age 50 and up. The Senior Center provides programs to meet the needs and interests of seniors, including recreational and leisure, health and wellness, cultural programming, classes, and social services resources.

Seniors are invited to participate in any activities that they choose:

Computer Lab, Pool & Snooker Room are open Monday - Friday 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM

  • Mondays:  Ceramics (9:00 am); Chair Exercise (9:00 am); Bridge (1:00 pm)
  • Tuesdays:  Yoga  (10:00 am); Bible Study (11:00 am); Swing Dance (2:00 pm); Cards, Games & Marbles (5:00 pm)
  • Wednesdays:  Chair Exercise (9:00 am); Friends Bridge Club (1:30 pm)
  • Thursdays:  Bridge (12:30 pm); Jam Session (6:00 pm); Cards, Games & Marbles (6:00 pm) 
  • Fridays:  Chair Exercise (9:00 am); Brush and Palette (1st Friday of the month at 9:00 am); Bingo (2nd & 4th Fridays of the month at 9:30 am)

SAGE Services

SAGE Services provides discounted senior meals in the Senior Center Dining Room on Wednesday - Friday 11:00 - 11:45 am.

Volunteers are needed to deliver meals to our homebound seniors. If you would like to help, or know someone who would like to help for 30 -45 minutes a day, please call 719-336-7115 on Wednesday - Friday between 7:00 am and 12:00 pm.
