The Lamar Police Department is enacting new sex offender registration procedures. Lamar sex offender registrations are conducted by appointment only.

Appointments are made Tuesday through Friday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM and 1:00 - 3:00 PM, excluding holidays.

Registration forms:

To expedite the process, complete both of the forms and submit to branden.kemp@ci.lamar.co.us  prior to the scheduled appointment. Alternatively, a computer will be available at the time of the appointment to complete the documents as needed.

registration Cost:

• The registration fee must be paid prior to the scheduled appointment. Registration fee payment can be made at the Lamar City Complex, located at 102 E Parmenter St, Lamar, CO 81052.
• The registration fee payment receipt is required at the time of scheduled appointment.
• Initial Registration - Beginning May 1, 2026, a $25.00 fee will be charged for all offender initial registrations.
• Renewal Registration - Beginning January 1, 2027, an annual $25.00 fee will be charged for all offender renewals.

Bring to Appointment:

You must bring a driver license, state ID card, or other form of government-issued picture ID to the scheduled appointment.
