Lamar Properties with Local Historic Designation  

Main Café/Pike & Deeter Block

Vacant for decades, the Lamar Historic Preservation Advisory Board gave the former Main Café building at 114 S. Main Street local historic designation in 2020 as an acknowledgment of its significance to downtown. Pike & Deeter Block is the entire building and includes 112 S. Main (southern half of Home & Season store) and 114 S. Main. The City is completing preparations and planning to redevelop the property for a leased restaurant space (first floor) and apartments (second floor).
