Volunteer of the Year: Gayle Crawford, Library
- In recognition of your dedicated support of the Lamar Public Library. Your help in library operations and with program preparations greatly enhances our services. Your personable nature and reliable assistance make you an invaluable part of our team.

- In appreciation of your dependable support, kindness, and consistency. Though your work often goes unseen, your dedication, hard work, and ability to handle complex tasks keep the City running smoothly. Your efforts are truly valued and appreciated.

Community Choice: Tracy Fagan, Ballpark Foreman, Parks & Recreation
- In recognition of your unwavering dedication and hard work. You are a reliable problem-solver who steps in when things break, clog, jam, or fall apart—tackling every tough, dirty, and inconvenient job without hesitation. Your exceptional commitment is evident in our ballfields, parks, and now Escondido Park. Your grit, dependability, and willingness to go above and beyond make you an indispensable part of our operation.

Employee of the Year: Ted Vasquez, Superintendent, Street Department
- In recognition of your outstanding service to the City of Lamar and the Public Works Department. Your exceptional communication skills, personable approach, and dedication to direct, meaningful interaction strengthen our community. By taking the time to speak with residents face-to-face and keep them informed, you set a positive example for the entire department.
