Internal applications are now being accepted for a code enforcement officer with the Lamar Police Department. 

Under general supervision and direction, directs enforcement of municipal codes relating to nuisances and animal control.  Coordinates inspections and investigations of violations and initiates abatements when warranted.  Posts and maintains all appropriate records for mentioned duties.  

Job Qualifications: Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school; working knowledge of safe and efficient working practices as they relate to code enforcement and animal control; working knowledge of computers and related software and programs.  Possession of a valid Colorado Driver’s license.
