How do I complete my application online? 

Our application is a fillable PDF form, which can be downloaded, completed and saved to your computer. Once you complete it, you must save it and send it to Human Resources.

  1. Download the application to a file on your computer, and fill out the requested information. Save the completed document to your computer and email it, along with your resume, to Human Resources at the City of Lamar.
  2. Download the application and print it as a hard copy document. Complete the application, scan it, and email it along with your resume to Human Resources
Can I apply for a job with the City even if you are not hiring? 

Yes, your application will remain on file for six months.

I don't have computer access. Can I fill out a paper application? 

Yes. Applications are available at the City Human Resources office located on the second floor of the City Complex at 102 E. Parmenter St., or, if you have access to a printer, you can get a copy

I've applied for a position with the City in the past. What should I do if I see a new position vacancy and want to apply again? 

You need to send in a separate application for each job.
